Tollywood actor Jr NTR expressed his wish to collaborate with Tamil director Vetrimaaran on a straight Tamil film, suggesting it could be dubbed in Telugu later. Vetrimaaran confirmed their meeting and shared that they discussed potential ideas but noted that both have current commitments to fulfill before proceeding.

Jr NTR, known for his role in the global hit RRR, had previously shared his admiration for Vetrimaaran’s unique filmmaking style during a promotional event for his upcoming film Devara: Part I.

Jr NTR is currently busy promoting his upcoming action-thriller Devara Part 1. During one such promotional event, the RRR actor expressed his desire to work in the Tamil film industry and requested his "favourite" director Vetrimaaran to cast him in one of his future projects.
